It has been my pleasure to know Geraldine Diggs for over thirty years.

I worked with her for more than twenty years at Children’s Hospital. She was the mainstay of our Pharmaceutical area. Her responsibilities included implementing standards based on the rules, regulations and laws of the State of Maryland and the Joint Commission for the Accreditation of Health Care Organizations. She continually went above and beyond the call of duty, anticipating patient needs, delivering service with great dignity and integrity. We used her as the model employee and professional staff member.

When Ms. Diggs founded WeCare Private Duty Services, Inc., she assembled an organization of highly trained and professional Caregivers who stress her values of knowledge, skills, ethics, image and customer service.

For the past 11 years, WeCare has placed Caregivers with some of Maryland’s most prestigious families, helping loved ones maintain their dignity and independence in the comfort of their own homes, while receiving the compassionate care they deserve.

Physicians, attorneys and patients with particular needs and demands consistently call upon WeCare because of its reputation for excellence. Indeed most of WeCare's business comes from referrals from this important group.

My own parents benefited from her services for several years. Without the outstanding services provided, the reliability, professionalism, experience, and wisdom, they would not have been able to remain in their own home until they died. They were both incredibly indebted to WeCare caregivers – who went way beyond the call of duty – taking them on extended trips, seeking out creative ways to enhance their life, and allow for them to maintain their dignity.

Geraldine has conscientiously provided education and training in disease entities, customer service, cultural issues, and palliative care so that her caregivers are able to provide the care needed for a quality of life.
