Care
WeCare started as a home-based business
Incorporated on June 8, 1995
Immediately began a series of quarterly In-Service training programs to assist CNAs with their professional development
WeCare grew steadily from 1995
25 individuals, primarily family and friends, formed the initial corps of Caregivers who served 5-10 clients
Currently over 300 Caregivers on the registry
Initial referrals came from area physicians
Most referrals come from satisfied clients and their families
Currently serve 180(+/-) clients
To date WeCare has served over 2800 clients
Celebrated its tenth anniversary in June, 2005
Caregiver Appreciation Day for Nurses’ Week
Recognition from State and Local elected officials
Over 100 Caregivers recognized
In 2006, WeCare doubled its office space to accommodate its growth and to better respond to client and Caregiver needs
