Over 20 years of providing professional, compassionate care

WeCare celebrates 20 years of caregiving excellence!

WeCare started as a dream that became a reality through vision, hard work, and a standard of excellence that is attributed to the dedication of Geraldine Diggs -- Founder, President, and CEO. This journey began in her basement on June 8, 1995, when Ms. Diggs realized her childhood dream of running her own business.

Thank you for being a part of this incredible journey;

Ms. Diggs and the employees of WeCare actively support many not-for-profits in the Greater Baltimore Community. From sponsorships to participation in walks and other activities and financial support, WeCare Private Duty Services, Inc. lives up to its name.

Four of the many organizations that WeCare supports are represented during the celebration:

  • Ms. Cass Naugle, CEO of The Alzheimer’s Association of Greater Maryland
  • Ms. Kathy Rogers, Regional Executive Director of American Diabetes Association of Baltimore, Maryland and Western Pennsylvania; and Ms. Julie Frieman Funk, Director of Special Events, Maryland Area
  • Ms. Violet Apple, CEO of Girls Scouts of Central Maryland
  • Good friend and colleague, Ms. Sheela Murthy of the United Way of Central Maryland

While Ms. Diggs has always been a caregiver at heart, she has come a long way from being in the trenches, and WeCare has emerged as one of the most respected and sought-after agencies in the industry. It is the "go-to" agency for many professionals -- case managers, hospital social workers, financial advisors, and physicians -- and rehabilitation and hospice facilities.

When asked about her success, Ms. Diggs responds, "It is my patience and commitment to serving the needs of the community that drives me to succeed. A personal and caring touch is the hallmark of WeCare Private Duty Services.
I am truly blessed."
